Sedona is located at the lower end of Arizona's spectacular Oak Creek Canyon, renowned for its magnificent, natural red rock buttes and monoliths, as well as its surrounding pristine forests. It is part of both Coconino and Yavapai Counties and is completely surrounded by the Coconino National Forest. Located in the high southwestern desert under the rim of the Colorado Plateau at an elevation of 4,500 feet, it is blessed with four mild seasons, plenty of sunshine and clean air.

Erosion has sculpted this panoramic masterpiece for over 350 million years. Ancient Indians believed that Sedona was a sacred land and today their ruins still dot the area. In what is notably referred to as Red Rock Country, the rock formations have been given many affectionate names by the residents such as: Snoopy, Bell Rock, Coffee Pot Rock and Cathedral Rock.

Welcome to the beauty of SEDONA!
