The Cathedral Rock Trail #170 is an exciting but hard climb to a saddle on Cathedral Rock from which there are superb views.
The trail makes a sharp
climb to the saddle between two mayor clusters of spires on top of Cathedral Rock.
The saddle is magnificent.
There is room to move around with wonderful views to the east and west and mighty
cliffs framing the north and south sides. There are some perfectly placed rocks made
to order for sitting, viewing and meditating. This is one of the major
vortex sites
in Sedona.
